About

Lincoln AtoZ

Lincoln AtoZ is a multimedia project, podcast and radio show in which Paul Tyler and Jonny Haw will explore the City of Lincoln, UK by visiting 52 randomly selected grid squares from the Lincoln AtoZ street map.

The locations were picked from a hat by 52 local people, so we could find ourselves on a housing estate, a retail park or even an empty field! We’ll be travelling to each square on our trusty bikes, where we’ll then collect an object, take a photo, record some audio and, hopefully, delve below the surface of each place to find the hidden stories in seemingly ordinary places.

We’ll also be asking local people to contribute their memories, interesting facts, photos, short stories, poems and anything else they care to share - click here to find out how to get involved.

Each week we’ll report back on our progress in a live programme on Siren FM, Mondays 9pm-10.30pm.  You can listen online here and the best bits of the programme will be available as a podcast shortly afterwards - subscribe here or listen online using the players on each grid page.

The culmination of the project will be an art exhibition at The Collection in Lincoln.

52 grids, two men, one map... no clue!
